Standing outside on a fall foggy day in London would be equal to the shower temperature and pressure. Luckily I bought fuel at another big stop so I didn't have to waste $10 for that. Upside, all of the desiel pumps were working, which is rare. Odd that employee thinks there only two big stops in North America. When it renovated dont use whoever designed the truck parking in Aulds cove NS.

Lots of parking. The food and the service was excellent and the price is reasonable. Good place to stop for a meal

Well stocked, always clean, clean washrooms, awesome baked goods and lunch on the go. Only complaint staff may be too friendly allowing a line to build when busy so they can chat or jumping to the opposite end of the spectrum and being altogether inattentive

A stop at Irving tonight to grab some pie ending in no pie and a very ignorant girl named Chantal too busy to serve us. We are there at least once a week but will never go there again. Ignorant staff at this time with so many closures is not good business and now you have lost this family as your customer

Lots of food clean nice people

I have always loved Irving’s turkey bacon club platter. I always order wedges rather then fries and always extra mayo on the sandwich. I have always admired there portion sizes, the food is always hot and fresh, always pleasant staff, and food is always done reasonably quick. We also go there on special occasions with the kids for fathers days, family days, etc. All there food is amazing and their milkshakes are to die for. That you pembroke for having an amazing restaurant in pembroke that is reasonably priced! Also the fish and chips..... amazing!

So nice compared to any truck west to Vancouver... So clean! From a 25yr trucker its just not a fuel stop... There is no truck stops in Canada that compare to Irving....

Good portion sizes, very reasonably priced. Breakfast is always an A+ and so are the servers! The one area they could improve on is the dinner meals/entrees, which can be bland and a little short of expectation. I had the Mac & cheese which was slightly over cooked noodles with some shredded cheese melted on top - no actual cream sauce. Would go back for many of their other great options like the breakfast skillet though!

The food is classic American stuff, and they serve pretty big portions. Also very affordable. It's an efficient, down to earth type of place, gets the job done when you're hungry. I've come here a lot of groups of friends as teenagers and have always had a good experience.

Very good food!! Lovely service! And the dining room is open just use a mask to get to and from the table very simple and clean!!

We went there tonight to meet friends, it was rather busy for a Friday night. We didn’t wait long in the lineup. Once we got to the table we were asked about drinks right away. I was wondering why nobody was coming to serve us. I spoke to a server and said we are ready to order, she said nobody came to help you? I said no. Then the manager came towards me and said speak up next time, which I did. Shortly, after that the server apologized to us for not coming to the table to serve us in time. Overall, we waited 15 minutes to get served which I didn’t like. I thought they forgot about us, as we were in the middle of the restaurant. Eventually, I ordered the fish and chips. When I got it I was disappointed with the portion size. The fish portions could have been bigger and more fries. Plus it tasted ordinary, nothing too special. Overall, the service lacked attention. I would not go there again, as the food is mediocre.

So to start, I’m leaving this review after visiting this place a couple of times. First time- breakfast- place was packed, thought it would take for ever to get served and fed. Well I was surprised. Waitress was great, personal and kind. Great knowledge of the menu and meals.After ordering food came fast. Large quantity and great tasting. Second time - lunch - not as busy - waitress again came promptly and served us. Drinks came fast and she took our order quickly. I was tossed between 2 meals. After joking with the waitress “we” lol decided on the burger. Well this this was out standing. I decided also to toss an egg on it. Needless to say I should have wore my sweat pants, cause man was I full. I highly recommend stopping in at this place. It’s hidden behind the premise that it’s a truck stop. But it’s clean and family oriented.

Absolutely worth every dollar!!! Home cooked style meals. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Fast service. Showers for our truckers too! Online menu. Take out and when restaurant is open same great speed inside! You definitely need to go!

When ever I have been here l have been pulling a large RV and need diesel. I have had nothing but issues with inconsiderate motorists taking extremely long times to buy fuel and then make room for the next customer. I can't just do a quick maneuver to line up with another pump. This is very frustrating! Road rage is a real phenomenon that might have its roots at the pump. Other reviewers have also mentioned this issue.Hello Irving.. something needs to be done!! Consider.. Monitoring the pumps for issues and follow-up with those customers.Install a PA system to call those customers back to their vehicles and have them moved.Restrict the outside lane at the pumps to trucks, motorhomes and RVsInstalling another set of pumps solely for diesel and big rig customers.Deal with this issue and I would be more than happy to give you a 5 Star rating.Thank you!

It's just okay. Portions seem to be smaller than before (maybe depending on the order) and the prices are pretty high. I eat there, and it's fine, but nothing to write home about.

I love this truck stop! So convenient when travelling Hwy 7 by Pembroke if you need a break or something to eat. There is a large selection of food items and lots of options for coffee and tea. Bathrooms are clean, and the staff are very friendly.

We ate at Pembroke Big Stop in August 2019 and it was fantastic. I ordered the turkey dinner on another reviewer’s recommendation, and it was the best turkey dinner I’ve ever had ( outside my mother’s). Honestly worth a trip to this dinner.

Always liked the breakfast here. The service is friendly and prompt. New menu is a change. The bacon double cheeseburger is one of the best burgers in town!

Conveniently located and easy to get to. They could definitely use extra staff. Long wait for food to arrive. Waitress forgot about our drinks then when she did bring them she forgot one. When our food came some of it wasn't even what we had ordered. Never saw the server as she never came back to check on us. Their pie is absolutely the best pie we have ever had...

Generally, food here is fantastic. Although don't plan to be anywhere after you eat because the service is awful. Not because any of the waitresses fault but because of management trying to cut corners and low staffing. We walked in at 1145 and didn't receive our club sandwich and eggs Benedict until 145... yes two hours. We asked several times where our food was and we got the "were sorry it's coming answer. Super frustrating to see the poor servers run around under staffed. Should I mention, a Saturday morning with 5 servers working with a lineup of at least 10 guests waiting for a table for the two hours we were there. If you want good food you're in good hands. If you want to wait, also good place. Management took care of us but I don't think will come back. We could have driven to Arnprior, ate and drove back.

Fantastic place to eat. I walked over from Holiday Inn. It's got everything gas, restaurant, convenience store. Friendly staff

Their food has gotten better. The burgers are decent and not overboard like some other places. The fries are great and the milkshakes and desserts are super good. I usually don't have dessert when I eat out but even their jello is good (cherry) I swear. Fast service, please to your server well!!

Good food, always warm and filling and makes you feel at home, but service is on the slow side, especially at peak times of 09:00-10:30, 12:00-13:30 and 16:30-18:00.
